Cameron men's golfers compete in CPT/National Championship

LAWTON, Okla. -- Cameron's Bradley Ferrell and Austin Weaver both are competing in the CPT/National Championship on the Texas Star Golf Course in Euless, Texas and finished in the top 30 after two rounds. 

Ferrell is 7-over with a score of 149 (74, 75).  Yesterday in the first round he pared on the back nine and birdied on the 11th hole.  Weaver went 11-over (77, 76) and birdied on four holes through the two rounds.

The event is apart of the Collegiate Players Tour and is designed to provide summer golf competition for college-age men and women. The CPT is sanctioned by both college golf associations, (men) Golf Coaches Association of America, and (women) National Golf Coaches Association, and the USGA.

The final round of the championship will conclude tomorrow (Aug. 9).
