Margie Whitehorse worked as Office Manager in Athletics for four years (1990-94), while also serving as an FCA sponsor. Whitehorse then moved to Computing & Technology for 1 year. In 1995, she left Cameron to teach high school English at Lawton Christian School (1996-97 through 2005). While at LCS, Whitehorse coached softball & girls’ basketball.
She returned to Cameron in June 2008 as an Administrative Assistant to the Dean of the School of Business. Whitehorse's love of Cameron and Cameron Athletics brought her back to the athletic department. She enjoys supporting and working with both students and athletes at Cameron University.
Whitehorse holds an Associates Degree in Paralegal Studies from Rose State College and Bachelors of Science in Education from Almeda University. She is married to Charlie Whitehorse, a 1976 CU graduate. Two daughters, youngest is CU graduate; eldest attended Oklahoma Baptist University. 7 granddaughters, one grandson.
