John Spears is the second winningest volleyball coach in Cameron history with a record of 115 wins and 57 losses. He led Cameron to three straight state championships and a program record 41 matches won (1978). Spears owns the highest winning percentage of all Cameron volleyball coaches for those coaching more than one season, leading his team to three AIAW regional berths.
