Aggies Wrapped-Up Season In Denver

DENVER – Cameron women's cross country was led by Belle Vignes in the 6k race at the South Central Regional Championships at Washington Park, hosted by MSU-Denver.
 
Vignes placed 89th with a time of 24 minutes and 35.6 seconds, Daesha Brathwaite had a time of 25:47.8 to place 124th, and Malethabo Seema came in 127th place, clocking a time of 25:57.5.
 
Genevieve Young placed 131st after crossing the finish line with a time of 26:14.7, and Mathilde Winther rounded out the counting runners for the Aggies, placing 139th with a time of 26:29.1.
 
Additional runners for the Black-and-Gold were: Arian Spears, 142nd place (26:42.6), and Alejandra Collier, 146th place (26:56.5).
 
Cameron would finish 23rd as a team, beating Western New Mexico by 46 points. Adams State won the regional championship. Florance Uqajeneza of West Texas A&M took the individual crown with a time of 21:08.6.
