Aggies Selected Eighth in Preseason Poll

RICHARDSON, Texas - Cameron University men's cross country team was picked eighth in the Lone Star Conference Preseason Poll released Tuesday morning.

The preseason poll reflects the opinions of LSC head coaches, sports information directors, and various regional media representatives.

The Aggies are selected to improve their finish from 2021, where Cameron completed the LSC meet in 10th place.

The 2022 LSC Preseason Poll sees West Texas A&M picked to repeat as champions, with DBU and St. Edward's each following closely behind, with UT Tyler and Texas A&M International rounding out the top five.

The Aggies return four of the top five runners from last year's LSC meet. Jason Cousineau, AJ Espino, Edward Kipruto, and Brian Easter will look to lead the program to new heights.

Cameron will host the Aggie Duels to open the season on September 9th at the Big Green Soccer Complex. The Aggies will run in five events before competing in the Lone Star Conference Championships on November 5th.
