Lawton, Okla – Cameron Volleyball Wins on Senior Day.
The Aggies won their final home game of the season against Western New Mexico University.
The first two sets saw the teams battle back and forth. The Aggies would take set one 26-24 after senior
Caitlyn Henderson ended the back and forth with a kill to end the set. Set two would again be a close match all the way to the end with WNMU coming out on top 25-23.
Cameron would not be denied on their final home game of the season and would win sets two and three by wide margins. The Aggies took set three after a 5-0 run early gave them a lead that they would not let slip away. Cameron took the set 25-11. With the victory in sight the Aggies would not be denied and took the fourth and final set 25-14.
Paris Patterson led the Aggies with 23 kills. Seniors
Caitlyn Henderson and
Jacee Stelter added 12 and 10 kills respectively.
Henderson had a great day on defense as well, recording three blocks for the Aggies. Fellow senior Trinity Maldonaldo also added three blocks to help secure the victory.
The Aggies will finish their regular season on the road as they take on Texas A&M International on Nov. 10, and Texas A&M Kingsville on Nov. 11.
