Cameron Athletics Announces Hall of Fame Class of 2025

LAWTON, Oklahoma –The Cameron University Department of Athletics is proud to announce its Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2025. The class features three former standout athletes, Kelsi (Bond) Musick '02, Pat Hartline '87 and Carrie (Harvey) Martin '12; former volleyball coach and athletic administrator Kim Vinson, longtime Aggie Athletics supporters Dennis and Erika Moore, and the 1987 NAIA National Champion Cameron Football Team.
 
"The Cameron Athletics Hall of Fame is the pinnacle of achievement for Aggie student- athletes, coaches and teams," said Cameron Director of Athletics Lou Izzi. We are very excited to welcome this highly decorated class of inductees to the prestigious Cameron Athletics Hall of Fame as they reflect the best of our tradition of excellence."
 
Established in 2007, the Cameron University Athletics Hall of Fame honors exceptional former student-athletes and coaches, outstanding teams, and significant contributors. With the addition of the Class of 2025, the Hall of Fame now includes 102 inductees, including 80 former student-athletes.
 
The 2025 Cameron Hall of Fame Class will be formally inducted during Homecoming Weekend on Friday, February 21, 2025 in the McMahon Centennial Center, starting at 6:00pm. The class also will be recognized publicly during the media timeouts of the February 22 women's basketball game against Sul Ross State.
 
Tickets are now on sale for the event at CameronAggies.com/HOF. Single tickets are available for $40 per person. A table of eight can be purchased for $280. Tickets will remain on sale through January 15, or until capacity is reached.
 
Kelsi (Bond) Musick '02 – Women's Basketball
A four-year starting point guard for the Women's Basketball team from 1998 to 2002, Bond set school records for career 3-point average and assists. As a senior, Bond led her team to a school-record 25 wins and the first ever NCAA Division II tournament. Since graduating from Cameron, Bond has become an outstanding college coach, leading Southwest Oklahoma State to nine Division II tournament appearance. Currently, Bond is the head coach at Division I Oral Roberts University.
 
Pat Hartline '87 – Football
A dominant defensive end and a 1 st team NAIA All-American, Hartline anchored the top- ranked defense in the country and led the 1987 Cameron football team to the NAIA Division I national championship. He finished his career with the team record for most starts, sacks, and tackles for a loss.
 
Carrie (Harvey) Martin '12 – Softball
Harvey excelled as a pitcher on the Cameron Softball team from 2009 to 2012. Named the Lone Star Conference Freshman of the Year and LSC 1 st Team All-Conference, Harvey concluded her brilliant career by setting school records for complete games, innings pitched, strikeouts and shutouts. She also set Cameron season records for strikeouts and shutouts and was named NFCA Academic All-American.
 
Kim Vinson – Volleyball Coach and Administrator
Vinson dedicated 35 years of her professional career to Cameron Athletics, serving as head volleyball coach from 1990 to 2005 and head softball coach from 1990 to 1996, and then as the department's associate director of athletics, senior woman administrator and director of NCAA compliance. In 15 seasons leading the Cameron Volleyball team, Vinson won 271 matches and posted 12 winning seasons. She led the Volleyball team to four Lone Star Conference North Division titles, the 1998 LSC conference championship, and the 1998 and 2001 NCAA Division II Southwest Regional tournament. Vinson was named Lone Star Conference Coach of the Year four times.
 
Dennis and Erika Moore – Special Recognition
For over 40 years, Dennis and Erika Moore enthusiastically supported Cameron football and basketball through fellowship, volunteerism, and financial support. Through their dedication, loyalty, prominent presence, and genuine love for the University, Dennis and Erika profoundly impacted the many Cameron student athletes, coaches and teams they touched.
 
1987 Football Team
The first ever team to be inducted into the Cameron Athletics Hall of Fame, the 1987 Football team captured the NAIA Division I National Championship. Led by the nation's top-rated defense, the 1987 Football team resoundingly defeating Carson-Newman, 30- 2, in the championship game in front of a home crowd of more than 8,000 fans at Cameron Stadium. Five of the Aggie players were named NAIA Division I All- Americans and Coach Brian Naber received Oklahoma's prestigious Headliner Special Award.
