LAWTON, Okla. - The women's golf team positions themselves five strokes from the lead after Day 1 of the Oklahoma Women's Intercollegiate Tournament. UT Dallas leads team scoring, posting 11-over par. The Aggies are looking to build on their strong start and capitalize going into the final day.
In individual scoring,
Alexis Webb leads the team in third place shooting two-over par.
Maria Savoca is tied for fifth at three-over par.
Valentina Leyva Serrano rounds out the top ten being tied at five-over par.
Mollie Wheeler is looking to make her way into the top ten, sitting at 13th with a score of six-over par.
The Aggies will tee off at 8:30 AM tomorrow for the second and final round of the tournament.
