Roger joined the Cameron University cross country and track and field staff as a graduate assistant in the fall of 2020.
A native of Barcelona, Spain, Malonda spent his collegiate career at Calumet College of St. Joseph. There he earned a B.S. in forensic biotechnology and criminal justice with a minor in forensic science. He was earned USTFCCCA All-American status in the 3000m indoor event, was a three-time National Qualifier, three-time All-CCAC, and notched eight school records during his four years on campus.
Outside of his collegiate success, Malonda was apart of the C.E.U Barcelona Track Club and the Catalan National Cross Country and Track team. His previous coaching experience came at the high school and youth level at C.E.U Barcelona Track Club.
