Cameron University Athletics

2018-19 (Freshman):
- Ran in a total of 12 meets, six cross country and six track, as a freshman. 
- Placed in the top-30 at the MSU Red River Shootout and the LSC Preview Meet.
- Finished in 9th in the 600yd dash at the UCO Open and fifth in the 400m at the UCO Alumni Classic.
- Finished in the top-25 in her last four events of the spring. 

High School:
-At the 2016 UIL Class A State meet placed 3rd in the 4x100 relay, 6th Place in the 4x400 Relay and 4th Place in the 400 Meters.
-At the 2015 UIL Class A State Meet placed 2nd in the 4x200 Relay, 4th in the 4x100 Relay.
-2016 Region Meet Champion 400 meters.  
-3rd Place 2016 2A District 9 Cross Country Meet.
-21st Place 2017 Texas UIL Class 2A Region 2 Cross Country Meet.
-2015 State Qualifier Cross Country.
-Also participated in volleyball, band and cheer for Munday high school.

Personal:
- From Munday, Texas. 
- Has multiple relatives who have competed at the collegiate lever including mother, Kizzie Shields, who ran track at field at Tarleton State and cousin, James Washington, who is a wide receiver for the Pittsburgh Steelers. 
- Likes to cheer and fish. 
- Twin, Kayla, also runs for Cameron. 
- Studying nursing at CU.
