LAWTON, Okla. -- In their first official game this season, the Cameron University men’s basketball team beat Southwestern Adventist 77-49. “Coming into the game we played a team that had been averaging a lot of points lately in their previous games,” said head coach Wade Alexander. ”They run a four guard offense, we run a three guard offense so there was a little concern about the quickness and giving up threes on them.” Box Score Cameron dominated the paint putting up 44 points and got 17 second chance points compared to 28 points in the paint for the Knights and zero second chance points. The Aggies also grabbed 42 rebounds and had seven blocks, holding the Knights to 49 points. As a team, Cameron shot 48.4% from the field and was 30% (6-20) from the arc. | |
