KINGSVILLE, Texas (Nov. 18, 2011) ― Cameron failed to stop the home teams run in the second half, losing a halftime lead and the game to Texas A&M-Kingsville 76-64 at Hampton Inn Court.

The Aggies (13-8, 9-6) played tough in the first half, taking the lead early on a jumper by Andrew Thomas with 17:55 left. The Black and Gold and A&M-Kingsville traded shots for the rest of the half, with Cameron maintaining the lead in the end 31-30. The Javelinas pulled within one on a couple of occasions, but each time a different Aggie would put an end to the comeback. But the second half was night and day compared to the first, as the home team outscored Cameron 46-33, while shooting 63.6 percent from the field. Kingsville was able to begin the half on a 23-7 run, to pull ahead for good early. Cameron battled hard but could pull to within no closer than 12 before the final buzzer sounded.

Thomas Razor led the team in scoring with 16 points, followed by Garner with 12. One highlight in the night for the Aggies was the return of Vinicius Telo, who scored seven points in 21 minutes in his first action back since playing Abilene Christian back on Dec. 10.
