Aggie men hang with Oral Roberts but fall 74-64

Box Score TULSA, Okla. – Cameron hung around for the majority of the game but Oral Roberts would pull off a 74-64 win on Tuesday night in Tulsa.

The game for the Aggies counted as an exhibition but was a countable game for the Golden Eagles. CU used every player on their bench with Will Cook, Desmond Henry, and Charles Joy leading the way with 10 points.

CU trailed after making the first bucket of the night and left at halftime behind 38-22 to Oral Roberts. The second half was a different story for the Aggies and they racked up 45 points on the Golden Eagles and outscored them by six. Cameron got within nine points with seven minutes remaining after a Trevor Smith bucket.

The Aggies shot the ball at 38.7% from field and got outrebounded by ORU 47 to 37; Joy led CU with nine boards and Tank Mayberry added eight.

Oral Roberts had four players in double-figures with Shawn Glover leading the Golden Eagles with 15 points.

Cameron will travel on Wednesday to Missouri State for another Division I exhibition game at 7 pm in Springfield, MO.
