Craig Foster and Sean McGary both had 10 points but Cameron would fall to Missouri State 81-57 on Wednesday night.
This was CU's second Division I exhibition game in a row and fourth game in the past six days; for Missouri State (7-1) the game counted on their schedule and it was their sixth win at home in a row.
The Aggies stayed close with the Bears early and tied the game at eight with 13 minutes remaining in the first half. Cameron continued to stay within single digits for the majority of the rest of the half until MSU opened up a 16 point lead (40-24) at the half.
McGary came through for Cameron in the second half and accounted for nearly one third of their points with 10. However turnovers and poor shooting at the charity stripe hurt the Ags down the stretch; MSU would continue to widen the point margin and get their 600
th program win.
Despite losing the turnover battle by eight to Missouri State, the Aggies out-rebounded the Bears 37 to 34.
Desmond Henry would lead CU with eight boards.
As a group Cameron shot the ball at 37.3% from the field and 54.2% from the line.
The Aggies are slated to play on Saturday, Dec. 7 at home against Oklahoma Christian with a 3 pm tipoff.
