Cameron went 2-2 at the South Central Classic, dropping both matches in Durant, and winning both in Ada. As a team, the Aggies had a .180 attack percentage, with 18.6 digs per set during those four matches.
Kat Evans led the Aggies on the offensive end, recording 56 kills, with a .218 attack percentage. She also added five service aces, 21 digs, and three block assists.
Kelle Carver continued to spit out solid numbers, tossing up 47 kills (3.36 k/ per set) in 14 sets played. On the defensive end,
Lauren Acuna gave Cameron plenty of second chances with 60 digs (5.45 digs per set) in 11 sets played.

Starting the Lone Star Conference Season
Cameron is 8-9 in their conference openers, and they have lost their last three in a row. The last time the Aggies opened the conference season with Eastern New Mexico was in 1992 (0-3 loss at Portales, N.M.). The 1991 season was the only time Cameron and Eastern New Mexico opened the conference season in Lawton (0-3 loss).
Scouting Eastern New Mexico
Since their first meeting in 1978, Cameron is 20-16 against the Zias, and the Aggies have won three out of their last four matches. Cameron's lone loss (2-3) was last season at Eastern New Mexico.
The Zias have started the season with a 2-6 record with a 2-2 split in the MSU Hampton Inn-Vitational and four losses at the I.C BhakTa Volleyball Invitational in Las Vegas. Their two wins came against McMurry and Northwestern Oklahoma State. ENMU is averaging 11 kills per set with an attack percentage of .114.
Offensively, the Zias have a duo of ninety kill hitters in Courtney Lawson and Lauren Frye. Lawson has 94 kills with a .142 attack percentage and eight aces, while Frye has 92 kills with an attack percentage of .130. Setter, Karra Day has already racked up 271 assists, which is good for fifth in the conference.
On the other side, Hayley Couch has racked up 173 digs, while Lawson has contributed 89 of her own. Agatha Gibbons is first in the LSC in solo blocks (8) and is in the top ten for total blocks (34).
