An Aaron Thompson bucket and a pair of Foster free throws got CU within two with 33 second remain. With the MSU holding onto the slight lead Cameron was forced to foul the Mustangs who would continue to drill shots at the line to keep the Ags back three with 20 seconds to go.

Cameron had one last opportunity with two seconds left but Cook missed the tying shot that would roll of the rim to give Midwestern State the 74-71 win.
