HORSESHOE BAY, Texas – The Aggies are now nine-time Lone Star Conference Champions after beating Texas A&M-Commerce 4-1 in the tournament finals on Tuesday afternoon.
Cameron's title ties them with Abilene Christian for the most men's golf championships in league history.

The Aggies finished up the morning were they picked up from on Monday night, leading Midwestern State 3-2 in the semifinal.  CU would finish what they started with
Corey Bounds,
Bradley Ferrell, and
Dylan McClure winning their events over the Mustangs.

On the other side of the bracket, the Lions advanced with a 4-1 win over West Texas A&M to face CU in the championship.
Michael Kelly gave CU their first point after taking down A&M-C's Mitchell Ray 76 to 86, Bounds was second off the course and he would beat Kason Childress 77 to 82.
However, there wasn't much drama to play out with Ferrell coming in next and clinched CU the championship point with a 74-79 win against Hagan Wood.
With the title wrapped up McClure managed to recover from a triple-bogey on hole 16 to edge Marcus Sanna 78-79 for CU's fourth point.
Cullen Stahl was CU's fifth golfer and he would fall 82-74 to C.J. Clem.
Individually, McClure finished third overall with a 228 (78+72+78) for this sixth top-five of the season, Ferrell tied for fourth after carding a 230 (78+78+74), Bounds was tied for seventh with a 235 (82+76+77), Kelly was ninth overall (78+84+76=238), and Stahl finished tied for tenth (78+80+82=240).
Both McClure and Ferrell were selected to the LSC All-Tournament Team with Midwestern State's Derek Oland being named as the LSC medalist for the overall lowest individual score (220).
The Cameron men will wait for the official invite from the NCAA for Super Regionals which will be played on May 5-7 in Austin, Texas.
