First Tip: The Aggies' contest with the Rangers will be the final non-conference game of the season. Cameron moved to 5-3 after picking up a win over Southeastern Oklahoma on Dec. 16, advancing to .625 on the season. While the Aggies continue to struggle at the boards, the Black and Gold have experienced hot shooting at the arc and are now second in the league at 35% and first in three-pointers per game with 9.4 helped in part by Brandi Gomez who shot a perfect 4-for-4 in CU's last contest against Southeastern Oklahoma. Six additional Aggies also contributed successful three-pointers in the game, but SEOSU had CU's leading scorer, Brandi Leal, locked down as she went 0-2 from out deep for the third time in her career at CU, with the last occurring at Midwestern State and Tarleton State last season. Leal still remains first in the league in three-point field goals per game at 3.5 and is fifth in scoring, averaging 11.9 ppg. Charron Montgomery is five spots back of her with 10.1 ppg.

Last time out: Cameron recovered from a slow start and held off a late run from Southeastern Oklahoma to win 80-77 Wednesday night in Lawton to snap a two game skid. Cameron struggled early, and the Savage Storm picked up a ten point advantage midway through the first quarter, but the second quarter was all offense for both teams and a combined 64 points were scored with Cameron tossing up eight three-point buckets including a half-court shot at the buzzer by Savanna James to give the Aggies a 49-47 lead into the locker room. The Aggies shot 72% in the second quarter and went 28-for-54 overall and 52.2% at the arc.

The Ags picked up a 12 point advantage in the fourth, but the Savage Storm went on a 14-2 run to tie the game at 70 with 1:19 left. CU would make it a five point game from the line, and a late CU foul allowed the Savage Storm to get within three points back. SEOSU would miss a three point bucket at two seconds to give the Aggies the win. DJ Vallier went a perfect 6-for-6 from the field for a CU career high 19 points to lead the Aggies. Charron Montgomery led the team with seven assists and had 13 points; Brandi Gomez was also perfect but at the arc going 4-for-4 with 12 points.

About Northeastern Oklahoma: The Rangers have dropped their last three contests with their only win in eight tries coming at Oklahoma Panhandle.  Northwestern Oklahoma is averaging 56.5 points a game, which is lowest in the Great American Conference and they are getting outscored by over 20 points a game.  In rebounding they are picking up 36 a game, six fewer than their opposition.

Kamera Bozeman is the only NWOSU player in double-figures with 12.1 points a game; she is also leading the team in rebounding with seven per outing.

CU vs. NWOSU series: The Aggies will be making their third ever trip to Alva where they won in both visits.  Cameron last made the trek to Northwestern Oklahoma on Dec. 3, 2013 with the Aggies winning 66-61.  Both programs have met six times with CU winning in their last five crossovers.
