LAWTON – The 25th ranked Cameron softball team split a non-conference double-header with number-19 Central Oklahoma on Tuesday afternoon, with Kelsey Watson pitching a gem in game one to lead to the 8-0 win, and the Ags falling in game two 6-1. The split puts Cameron's record at 26-7 this season.

In game one, Cameron struck first in the opening frame with Chelsea DeLong hitting a single up the middle to score Tara Martini and Breezy McComas. DeLong would come through for the Aggies once again in the third with a ground out to give Cameron a 3-0 lead. All the Aggies scoring came in the fourth with five runs, McComas scored on a walk and Sonora Zukerman scored two on a single; CU would score two more off a UCO throwing error to win the game in five innings.

Watson (12-2) tossed her eighth shutout of the season with four punch outs; Martini provided a pair of hits and three runs, DeLong had three RBI.

The Aggies fell behind early in the nightcap with UCO getting two runs in the second inning and three runs in the third.

Both teams added runs in the fourth inning, with CU's coming on a McComas solo homer, cutting the UCO lead to 6-1.
