Aggies host Dallas Christian for home opener

About the Aggies
CU started off the season right by going 2-0 in their opening weekend at the LSC/Heartland Challenge. Cameron, under their new head coach Andrew Brown, averaged 72.5 points through their first two games, while holding their opponents to an average 59 points per game. The Aggies as a team shot 41 percent from the field and 40 percent from the three point line, but struggled at the charity stripe, hitting just 52 percent of their foul shots last weekend. Cameron is averaging 41 rebounds, 13 assists, 12.5 turnovers, 5.5 steals and one block per contest.
 
Sophomore Tyus Momoh currently leads CU with 17 points per contest, while Trey Hall is averaging 13.5, and both Tyler Williams and Delvonte Pierre are averaging 10. Pierre leads the Ags on the boards with 7.5 rebounds per game, while JV Long leads the team with three assists per contest.

Dallas Christian
The Crusaders have started out the season 0-7, losing to teams like Texas Wesleyan, Wiley College and Arkansas-Monticello. In their last contest against UAM, DCC lost 103-74. They shot just over 42 percent from the field and went 12-27 from three point range in the loss. The Crusaders turned the ball over 20 times and lost the rebounding battle 46-28. Trey Lindsey led DCC with 18 points, while Keldon Williams hit 4-7 from three while scoring 14 points and Davyon Collins added 13.

Looking Back
Cameron was able to get back-to-back wins in their opening weekend of the season as they beat Newman 72-57 and Oklahoma Christian 73-61. Against the Jets, transfer Trey Hall led the Aggies with 24 points, hitting 6-8 from beyond the arc. Tyus Momoh also had a big night, totaling 22 points while grabbing six rebounds. Against OCU, Cameron had five players in double-figures, as Tyler Williams had 15 points, Delvonte Pierre had 14, JV Long had 13, Momoh scored 12 and Stacey Lambert totaled 10 while grabbing a team high eight rebounds.

Looking ahead
Cameron will compete in the Patterson Auto Center Classic in Wichita Falls, Texas, Nov. 18-19. CU will take on St. Mary's on Friday, Nov. 18 and then battle Our Lady of the Lake on Saturday, Nov. 19.
