Cameron kicks off Thanksgiving week with Rogers State

About the Aggies
Cameron is 4-1 to open the season and look to get their second home victory over Rogers State on Tuesday. The Aggies are averaging 75 ppg while allowing 61 ppg on their opponent's side of the court. Three Aggies are averaging double figures in Tyus Momoh (14 ppg), Tyler Williams (13.6 ppg) and Trey Hall (11.2 ppg). CU is shooting 41 percent from the field, 36 percent from beyond the arc and 63 percent from the line. The team averages 15 assists per game led by JV Long and Williams each with 2.6 per contest. Delvonte Pierre averages six boards per game and just behind him is Hall with 5.8 rebounds a game.

The Hillcats started their season with a win over Colorado State-Pueblo, followed by a loss to Midwestern State. The Hillcats average 36 rebounds, 14 assists, and 17 turnovers a night, while getting seven steals and blocking 3.8 shots per contest.
 
They have four players averaging in double figures, with Baron Smith Jr. averaging 15.3 points, JD Tisdale averaging 14.8, Jeylyn Sharpe averaging 14.3 and Travis Hester averaging 11 points per game. Sharpe also leads the team with 7.8 rebounds a game.

Looking Back
Last weekend, Cameron went 1-1 at the MSU Patterson Auto Group Classic. CU started out the weekend beating St. Mary's 60-45, but then lost to Our Lady of the Lake the next day 84-78 in overtime. Against STMU, the Aggies shot just 33 percent from the field but hit on 13-16 of their free throws and only turned the ball over three times. Tyler Williams and Trey Hall led CU with 12 points each. In the loss to the Saints, Cameron only hit 8-30 from three point range and 16-26 from the free throw line. Tyus Momoh had 21 points in the loss, while Williams chipped in a career high 19 points.

The Aggies will complete their Thanksgiving week with a game against Dallas Baptist on Saturday, Nov. 26 at 3 p.m. in the Aggie Gym.
