Game Notes

First Tip:
Cameron went 1-1 in their first two Lone Star Conference contests, moving them to 7-2 overall this season. They have back-to-back non-conference matchups before welcoming Texas A&M-Kingsville into the Aggie Gym for their next league game. Their first non-conference contest of the week is against a familiar foe in Southwestern Oklahoma State. CU and SWOSU were once conference rivals, but have not played each other since 2011, when Cameron won 68-61 in the LSC Tournament.

This year's Aggie team is looking to build up another win streak, as they lost to Tarleton State their last time out on the court. Cameron is averaging 74.3 points per game, while giving up 65.4 to their opponents. They are shooting 40.5 percent from the field, 36.2 percent from long range, and 65.8 percent from the charity stripe. They are out-rebounding their opponents, 40.2-38.4, and are one of the best teams in the nation when it comes to ball control. CU is 23rd in the nation in fewest turnovers per game (11.2) and 40th in assist/turnover ratio (1.3). On defense, Cameron is holding their opponents to under 40 percent shooting from the field and 30.4 from beyond the three point line.

Individually, the Aggies have four players averaging 10 or more points, with Tyus Momoh leading the way with 13, Tyler Willliams averaging 12.2, Trey Hall chipping in 10.2 points per game, and JV Long adding 10.1. Momoh leads CU with 3.1 assists per game, while Williams is the team leader with 12 steals, and senior Delvonte Pierre leads the Ags with 5.7 rebounds per contest.

About Southwestern OK State:
After starting out the season 0-6, the Bulldogs got their first win of the season last week, beating Great American Conference foe Southern Arkansas, 80-76. They are averaging 65.7 points per game, while giving up 80.4 points per game to their opponents. SWOSU is shooting at a 36.7 percent clip from the field, while shooting 32.5 percent from three point range, and 68 percent from the free throw line. They are being out-rebounded by their opponents by a margin of 9.1, while also losing the turnover battle by a margin of 1.1. On defense, the Bulldogs get 4.3 steals and 2.9 blocks per contest. Individually, they are led by Devin Pugh (12.6 ppg) and Markeise Champion (12 ppg). Pugh is shooting over 40 percent from the field and three point range, and also leads SWOSU with six blocks. Champion shoots 40.6 percent from the field and 38.8 percent from the perimeter, while leading the team with 3.0 assists per game. Additionally, Reshardd Harris is the Bulldog's leading rebounder, grabbing 6.7 boards per contest.

The Series vs. SWOSU:
- SWOSU leads 34-27
- The Aggies are 3-11 when playing in Weatherford, Okla., with their last win there coming back in 1999.
- CU head coach Andrew Brown is 5-3 against the Bulldogs, dating back to his time at Northwestern.
- Last meeting: Feb. 5, 2011 in Lawton, Okla. (71-63 CU win)

Cover the Court:
For their next game, Cameron will host Lubbock Christian on Saturday, Dec. 10 starting at 7 p.m. for the Aggies first ever "Cover the Court for Kids" game. Fans will be awarded free admission if they bring a toy to donate. After the Aggies score their first point, play will stop, and fans will be encouraged to throw any toy that won't harm the floor or the players onto the court (all toys that may harm the floor or the players will be collected off to the side). All toys tossed onto the court will be collected and donated to local charities.
