Around the LSC:Â Four other league matches are on tap on Friday night with Midwestern State at Texas Woman's, Eastern New Mexico at UT Permian Basin, Tarleton State hosting Texas A&M-Kingsville, and Western New Mexico going to West Texas A&M. Â On Saturday, Texas A&M-Kingsville will travel to Angelo State, Western New Mexico visits UT Permian Basin, West Texas A&M will face Eastern New Mexico in Canyon, and Texas A&M-Commerce will host Midwestern State. Â

Looking Forward:Â Cameron will look to turn momentum in their favor as they end their four match road stretch with trips to Texas A&M-Commerce and Texas Woman's. The Aggies are still looking for their first Lone Star Conference win, as they dropped both of their matches last week in New Mexico.Â
Jenna Gillean continues to lead the team on offense, averaging 3.63 kills per set with an attack percentage of just over .300. Defensively, both
Gabrielle Lerma and
Kylee Quillin are averaging over 3.5 digs per set, while Gillean is getting it done on the block with 20 blocks this season. CU has used the two setter approach so far this season, with
Haleigh McClain-Ward averaging 5.7 assists per set and
Shelby Mench adding 4.7 assists per set.

Most Impressive:Â
Jenna Gillean's streak of games with 10 or more kills is now at 12 after recording 10 kills at Western New Mexico and 12 against Eastern New Mexico. She has been efficient in her attacking as well, with only two games with five or more errors during the 12-game span. Gillean is currently fourth in the LSC in kills and seventh in attack percentage. Â Â
Texas A&M-Commerce (8-6, 2-2 LSC)
-Have gone 2-2 in their first four LSC matches, with loses to Tarleton State and #13 Angelo State.
-Come into the contest on a three game winning streak, beating St. Edwards's 3-1 in their last match.
-Second in the LSC in blocks with 2.29 per set.
-Junior Sydney Reyes is second in the LSC with 1.17 blocks per set.

-Broke their seven game losing streak Tuesday with a 3-2 win over Dallas Baptist.
-Lead the LSC with 18.14 digs per set, but are last in the league in service aces.
-Sophomore Emma Petolick is fifth in the league with 4.41 per set.
-Junior Mary Kate Hyde leads TWU and is fifth in the LSC averaging just over nine digs per set.

Looking Back:Â
Cameron has lost five straight matches, most recently to Western New Mexico and Eastern New Mexico. The Aggie netters were swept by the Mustangs 3-0 after hitting just .120 on the attack. Against the Greyhounds, CU was able to battle in set three and win set four, but could not complete the comeback in Portales.
Jenna Gillean led Cameron in kills in both games, while freshman
Haleigh McClain-Ward put up a career high 37 assist against ENMU.
