Game Notes

First Tip: 
- Cameron faces a tough test this week, taking on LSC newcomer UT Permian Basin for just the third time in program history, and then battling a very familiar foe in West Texas A&M. 
- The Aggies fell to 3-7 overall and 1-3 in the Lone Star Conference with their 79-76 New Years Eve loss to No. 4/7 Angelo State. 
- Cameron held a 13-point lead early in the first half, but the undefeated Rambelles surged late and escaped the Aggie Gym with the three point victory. 
- Savanna James recorded her second straight 20-plus point game with 23 points to go along with 12 rebounds for her fourth double-double of the season.
- Natalie Halbleib recorded her fourth double-double against ASU, scoring 14 points and grabbing 12 boards. 
- On the season, the Aggie offense is ranked 17 in the nation and second in the LSC in scoring with 80.2 points per contest, while also ranking in the national top-20 in three point defense and three pointers made per contest. 
- James, who is averaging 15.8 and 8.6 rebounds per game, is ninth in the nation in shooting, going 60.4 percent from the field this season. 
- CU has four players, including James, who are averaging better than 10 points per contest; Charron Montgomery is top-10 in the LSC with 13.3 points per game, while Halbleib averages 11.1 points and Jamie Bonnarens averages 11 points. 
- James (8.6), Halbleib (7.3), and Bonnarens (6.4) are all top-10 in the LSC in rebounding, while Montgomery and Brittany Hill are both in the top-10 of the conference in assists (3.4 and 3.6) and steals (2.4 and 1.9).  

About UT-Permian Basin: 
- The Falcons are last in the LSC in scoring, averaging just 60.1 points per game, while allowing 64.8 to their opponents. 
- They are shooting 35.6 percent from the field, 28.1 from three point range, and a league best 77 percent from the free throw line, while opponents are shooting 41.7 percent from the field and 34.2 percent from the perimeter against them.
- UTPB averages 34.5 rebounds, 14.4 turnovers, 10.5 assists, 9.7 steals, and 1.5 blocks per game. 
- Briana Caro is the team's leading scorer, averaging 12.2 points per game, while Niva Taito averages 11.9.
- Heather Crittenden, who averages 9.1 points, is the Falcon's leading rebounder with 6.0 rebounds per contest, while Jackie Perez leads the team with 2.3 assists.  

The Series vs. UTPB:
- Series tied 1-1
- CU won their only meeting in Lawton, 75-72 back in 2009.
- Last Meeting: January 2, 2011 in Odessa, Texas (86-73 UTPB win).

About West Texas A&M: 
- After starting out the season 6-1, the Lady Buffs have gone 3-3 since, including 2-2 in LSC play; they play Midwestern State on Thursday before heading to face CU.
- WT is averaging 71.8 points per game, and is ranked fourth in the nation with a 48.8 field goal percentage, while shooting 36.6 percent from three point range, and 76 percent from the charity stripe. 
-They are holding teams to a league best 56 points per game, while allowing them to shoot just 36.6 percent from the field. 
- The Lady Buffs average 36.8 rebounds, 15.4 assists, 17.7 turnovers, 8.2 steals, and 3.5 blocks per contest. 
- Sasha Watson leads WT 15.2 points per game, while averaging a league best 4.2 assists. 
- Alie Decker is averaging 11.6 points and Maddison Wild is averaging 10.5. Decker is one of the top three point shooters in the LSC, while Wild leads WT with 6.4 rebounds per contest.

- WT leads 36-3
- The Aggies haven't beaten the Lady Buffs in Lawton since 2001. 
- WT is currently on an 11 game win streak against CU.
