LAWTON, Okla. – The Aggie men's basketball team closed out their home season with a 91-64 win over Midwestern State on senior night.
The team celebrated the collegiate careers of seniors
Stacey Lambert,
KeDorian Sullivan,
Trey Hall and
Delvonte Pierre before taking to the court to beat the Mustangs.
Hall drained a season high eight three-pointers and scored 23 points to lead the Aggies. Â
JV Long accounted for 20 points, eight rebounds and eight assists while
Tyus Momoh had 12 points to round out the Aggies in double digits.
Cameron opened the game shooting 57 percent from the field while holding the Mustangs to just 40 percent. The Aggies would press forward to lead by as much as 16 points in the first half helped by a 6-or-12 effort from beyond the arc. Both sides shot 7-for-10 at the line in the first half.
The Aggies would maintain their double digit lead for the entirety of the game once they secured in 14 minutes into the game.
In the second half, the Mustangs dropped to shooting 35 percent on the floor and made just three treys to the Aggies' six that they matched from the first half to take their largest lead of the game of 28 points.
Cameron shot 52 percent from the field and complimented it with a 90 percent effort at the stripe while MSU shot just 60 percent themselves at the line. The Aggies also committed only two second half turnovers while forcing six on MSU.
The Aggies are now 17-11 and 15-12 in the league while MSU drops to 14-13 and 7-11 in the LSC.
