LAWTON, Okla. – The Cameron University volleyball team hits the road this weekend for a pair of matches against Texas A&M-Kingsville and Texas A&M International.

Against the Opponents:
Cameron owns a 23-17 record against TAMUK, however, they have lost the last six matches and have not won in Kingsville since 2015. CU and the Dustdevils have only met once before, which was back in 2009, when the Aggies won 3-0 in Russellville, Ark.
About the Aggies:
The Aggies are coming off a 3-0 loss to Northwestern Oklahoma State on Tuesday night and own a 5-13 record for the season. They are also 1-7 against Lone Star Conference opponents, with their only win coming in the league opener against Midwestern State on Sep. 20.
Freshman
Arianna Navarrete leads the Aggies with 141 kills this season, totaling two more than teammate
Shantalle Demirjian.
Walia Franklin adds 2.00 kills per set to the offensive attack, and has recorded 47 kills over CU's four-match homestand.
Katherine Manning and
Desiree Marmolejo combine for over 9.00 assists per set and both have 12 service aces on the season, six less than Navarrete, who owns the team lead. Franklin and
Riana Blount lead CU with 47.0 blocks each, while
Caitlyn Henderson has 44.0 in 2019. Libero
Peyton Little averages 3.81 digs per set, while four other Aggies average over 2.00 digs per frame.
Scouting the Javelinas:
Texas A&M-Kingsville enters the match against CU with a 15-7 record with three wins in their last four contests. There are 6-2 against LSC opponents and 6-2 when playing in Kingsville. Melanie Casteel leads the squad with 2.82 kills per set, while four other Javelinas have 100-plus kills on the season. Emily North leads the team with 400 assists, while Lauren Kadilis averages 5.36 helpers per set. Talleyshia Morris has 90.0 total blocks, averaging 1.08 per set, while Kailey Estrada averages 1.05 blocks per frame.
Scouting the Dustdevils:
The Dustdevils are currently on an eight match losing streak and are 2-13 on the season with a 0-6 league record. Mackenzie Catalina, who has 164 kills while hitting .227 on the season, leads them on offense. Maison Kosse averages 8.24 assists per set, while leading the team with 13 service aces. Three Dustdevils have tallied over 20.0 blocks this season, with Annie Deininger leading the way with 28.0.
