LAWTON, Okla. – After going 1-1 this past weekend in a pair on Lone Star Conference matches, the Cameron volleyball team is back in action on Tuesday as they host Southern Nazarene for their final non-conference contest of the season.

Against SNU:
The Aggies are 16-14 all-time against their opponent from Bethany, Okla. They are 9-2 while playing in the Aggie Gym, but are just 5-5 against SNU in the last 10 matchups, with the Crimson Storm winning four of the last five. CU's last win came in 2017 when they won 3-0 on their home floor.
Last Time Out:
Cameron had to battle a power outage and the Rattlers of St. Mary's this past Saturday. After an hour-long delay, CU got off to a slow start, falling in the first and second sets. They rebounded by hitting over .270 on the attack in the final three sets to earn the come from behind win.
Shantalle Demirjian led the way with a career-best 17 kills, while
Arianna Navarrete totaled 14 kills, which was her highest total since coming to CU. The Black and Gold also had 12.0 total blocks in the match, led by
Caitlyn Henderson with 6.0 and
Kendyl Payne with 4.0.
About the Aggies:
After their weekend split, CU is 6-16 on the season and 2-10 against Lone Star Conference opponents. They average 11.5 kills and 10.9 assists per set while hitting .166 on the attack. Navarrete leads the Black and Gold with 180 kills, averaging 2.28 per set, which is the same as Demirjian, who has 178 total kills.
Katherine Manning averages a team-high 5.14 assists per set, followed by
Desiree Marmolejo who is right behind her with a 4.22 average. They have also combined for 28 service aces from the setter position, while Navarrete leads the team with 18 aces. Henderson (56.0 total blocks) and
Riana Blount (54.0 total blocks) lead a Cameron team that averages 1.75 stuffs per set, while libero

Similar to the Aggies, SNU went 1-1 this past weekend and are now 17-8 on the season with a 3-0 record against LSC opponents. They average over 13.0 kills per set, led by Bailee Turang, who averages 3.70 per set, while Kayla Thomas racks up 2.90 kills per frame. Kylie Smith is over the 1K mark in assists with 11.05 per set. SNU averages 1.7 service aces per frame, with six players totaling over 20 this season, led by Turang with 31. Defensively, they rack up 1.46 blocks per set, led by Bailey Grimes with 76.0 total blocks and Sunny Batschelett with 50.0. Libero Logan Matthews has a Crimson Storm best 4.24 digs per set.
