Cameron Finished 11th at DBU Old Glory Gallop

GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas – Cameron men's cross country finished the Dallas Baptist University Old Glory Gallop in 11th place.

Jake Cousineau was CU's top finisher, placing in 28th with a time of 26 minutes at Lynn Creek Park Saturday morning.

Adrian Alonso Canales had a time of 26:44.0 to finish in 51st place, Jeppe Sjolin-Anderson turned in the 53rd placement with a time of 26:47.5, and Edward Kipruto had a time of 27:21.9 to finish in 61st place.

Rounding out the counting runners for the Aggies is Marcos Herrera in 65th place with a time of 27:30.4.

Also competing for Cameron; Daniel Parra (27:41), AJ Espino (27:48.8), Brian Easter (28:01.8), Nathan Kemp (28:06.7), and Allen Vasquez (28:45.6).

Gidieon Kimutai of Missouri Southern won the individual title with a time of 23:22.2, leading MSSU to the team crown with 36 points, beating East Central by four points.

Cameron will have a break before running in the Lone Star Conference Championship in Wichita Falls, Texas, on Nov. 5.
