Wichita Falls, Texas – Cameron men's cross country recorded an eighth-place finish at the Lone Star Conference Championship at the River Creek Golf Course hosted by Midwestern State Saturday morning.
Cameron placed eighth, two points ahead of UAFS. West Texas A&M would win the race, and Harry Louradour of WT would take the individual crown with a finish of 24:11.5.
Jake Cousineau led the Black-and-Gold with a 27th-place finish, crossing the finish line at the 26 minutes and 16.0-second mark.
Jeppe Sjolin-Anderson came in 46th with a time of 27:16.2, AJ Espino placed 47th, clocking a time of 27:19.9, Edward Kipruto crossed with a time of 27:24.4 in 51st place, and Brian Easter came in 53rd with a time of 27:27.7.
Also running for Cameron: Marcos Herrera (27:30.3), Adrian Alonso Canales (28:13.0), Nathan Kemp (28:39.9), Daniel Parra (28:45.6), and Allen Vasquez (29:28.9).
The Aggies will race on Nov. 19 in the South Central Regional in Denver.
