Lawton, Okla – Men's Basketball wins thriller to open conference play.

It took 11 ties, nine lead changes, and double overtime, but the Aggies came out victorious over the UT Tyler Patriots in the end.

The two teams battled back and forth for most of the game.  The Aggies found themselves down by one with less than a minute to go in the game before Jaylan Thomas hit a three to put Cameron up by two.  A last second dunk by the Patriots tied the game at 79 apiece and forced the game into overtime.

In overtime, the Aggies led by as much as five, but the Patriots would not go quietly.  A late three-pointer and lay-up had the Patriots trailing Cameron by just two points.  The Aggies would turn the ball over with seconds to go and the Patriots would capitalize and tie the game on a lay up to end the first overtime.

With less than a minute to go in the second overtime the Aggies trailed 101-102 before Reggie Prudhomme hit a huge three-pointer to put Cameron up by two.  UT Tyler would hit a free-throw to come within one before Prudhomme would be sent to the line and sink two free-throws for the Aggies.  A last second jumper put the Patriots within one before a long inbounds throw ran enough time off the clock for Cameron the secure the victory 106-105.
