LAWTON, Okla. – The Cameron men's tennis team took down 35th-ranked Washburn 4-3 on Thursday at the Streich-Henry Tennis Complex.

The Aggies swept all three matches in doubles play to take an early 1-0 lead. Tomas Almeida and Thomas Cardona won the duel at No. 1 6-4. Joao Duleba and Baptiste Mercier topped the No. 14th ranked team at No. 2 6-4. Kristian Kubik and Emilio Seelbach had a 6-3 win at No. 3.

Mercier secured a point at No. 3 singles with a 6-2, 6-3 win, Kubik went the distance with a 6-2, 2-6, 6-2 win at No. 4, and Alexandre Post won 6-1, 6-1 at No. 6.

CU returns to Lone Star Conference play when St. Mary's visits on Saturday at 10:00 am.
