Lawton, OK - The Cameron Aggies beat Eastern New Mexico University in 4 sets. The Aggies will head to Alpine, Texas to play Sul Ross on Friday at 6 PM

How It Happened

SET 1 | The Aggies took an early lead and maintained control throughout the set. Determining factors of the set included kills by Jennifer Valdez and Haley Beggs, along with Emily Keohen's service ace. The Aggies capitalized on ENMU's mistakes, securing the set with a final kill by Beggs. Cameron secured the set 25-20.

SET 2 | The Aggies showed their comfort in this set with great kills from Jennifer Valdez and Emily Keohen, combined with several attack errors from ENMU. Kayla Eggiman contributed with a service ace. Good passing allowed setter Rachael White and Emily Keohen to facilitate smooth offensive plays, often setting up Jennifer Valdez and Rhayan Earl for well-placed kills. Solid blocks also helped the Aggies secure the win from players like Haley Beggs and Jennifer Valdez. The set ended 25-15.

SET 3 | The Aggies made several errors, including service errors. Eastern played with more intensity, and their reduced number of errors allowed them to stay ahead. ENMU took the set 25-18, making The Aggies play the 4th set.

SET 4 | The Aggies bounced back with strong blocking and attacks, particularly from Haley Beggs, Kayla Eggiman, and Jennifer Valdez. Cameron's consistent offense and Eastern's defensive struggles allowed Cameron to close out the set and the match with a 25-15 victory. Jennifer Valdez capped off a stellar day with another series of kills, and Cameron's solid defense ensured they remained in control. The Aggies wrapped up the set 25-15.
