The first set saw Cameron establish dominance with a commanding 25-19 win. Kayla Eggiman was a force on the attack, delivering 13 kills across the match with a hitting percentage of 0.182. Hailey Baker added 13 kills of her own, contributing consistently in high-pressure moments. Their efforts were bolstered by Emily Keohen, who tallied 31 assists and one service ace while maintaining poise in the setter position.
Western New Mexico fought back to take the second set 25-23. However, Cameron regrouped in the third set, thanks to the combined power of Carsen Glaser (16 kills,0.229 hitting percentage) and the defensive stability provided by Jennifer Valdez and Clarissa Galindo, who notched 3 and 13 digs, respectively.
