Lawton, OK. - The Cameron Aggies clinched a thrilling 3-2 victory against Western New Mexico at the Aggie Gym. The match was a showcase of grit, determination, and standout performances. 

The first set saw Cameron establish dominance with a commanding 25-19 win. Kayla Eggiman was a force on the attack, delivering 13 kills across the match with a hitting percentage of 0.182. Hailey Baker added 13 kills of her own, contributing consistently in high-pressure moments. Their efforts were bolstered by Emily Keohen, who tallied 31 assists and one service ace while maintaining poise in the setter position. 

Western New Mexico fought back to take the second set 25-23. However, Cameron regrouped in the third set, thanks to the combined power of Carsen Glaser (16 kills,0.229 hitting percentage) and the defensive stability provided by Jennifer Valdez and Clarissa Galindo, who notched 3 and 13 digs, respectively. The Aggies edged out the Mustangs 25-22 in a nail-biting finish.  

The fourth set saw the Mustangs level the match, winning 25-20. Yet the Aggies refused to relent. In the decisive fifth set, Eggiman delivered critical points with her strong attacking and energy on the court, and Baker's relentless focus sealed the set with a thrilling 15-13 win.

Cameron's defensive efforts were another cornerstone of their victory. The team recorded a collective 76 digs, with Hailey Baker and Kayla Eggiman contributing 17 and 16. Valdez also made a significant impact at the service line, recording 2 aces in the match.
