San Angelo, TX. – Aggies unable to maintain lead.
The Cameron Men's Basketball team nearly got the road win on Thursday night. After Angelo State took an early 10 point lead the Aggies mounted a comeback to take a one point lead into the locker room. Cameron would maintain that lead through the first half of the second quarter before the Rams fought their way back. At the 15:00 minute mark Angelo State took the lead and the Aggies were unable to take it back as the Rams would go on to win 80-71.
Jaylan Thomas led the Aggies with 22 points and five rebounds, while
Reggie Prudhomme chipped in 17 points.
Cameron drops to 11-7 in the Lone Star Conference with the loss.
