San Angelo, TX. – Women's Basketball falters in 2
nd half.
The Aggies kept this one close in the first half but couldn't keep up with the Rams in the second.
Seven points separated the teams at the half. Cameron made five three-pointers in the first half compared to Angelo States' two made threes'. The gap in three-pointers helped the Aggies keep the
contest close.
The second half saw the Aggies run into a shooting slump. Cameron would shoot just 22% from the field in the second half compared to 54% from Angelo State. The Rams would also start hitting from beyond the arch in the second half, making seven threes compared to the Aggies' two.
Korie Allensworth led things for Cameron with 19 points.
Katie King and
Shamica Smith each had six rebounds in the effort.
