Lawton, OK. – Women's Basketball finishes season with win.
The Aggies faced off against their border rivals, Midwestern State, on Thursday night. After a hard-fought contest Cameron Basketball prevailed 76-71.
Cameron finishes the year with an overall record of 11-17 and 9-13 in the Lone Star Conference.
Katie King led all scorers with 29 points.
Korie Allensworth threw in 20 points and 8 rebounds, and
Shamica Smith turned in a double-double with 12 points and 13 rebounds.
King was the team's top scorer during the season, averaging 15.6 points per game. Smith was the leading rebounder on the season, averaging 9.2 rebounds per contest.
The Aggies will need to fill some big holes on the roster in the off season as several key players will be leaving after having graduated. The team will also be spending the off season recovering from several injuries.
