Softball unable to pick up win in doubleheader

Aggies offense hits a wall at ASU

Game 1
In a hard-fought battle against Angelo St., Cameron's softball team faced a tough challenge. Despite displaying commendable efforts, Cameron struggled to convert opportunities into runs. Taylor Rowley, leading from shortstop, attempted to kickstart the offense with a sacrifice hit, while Alyssa Deanda and Kaiden Boren contributed with hits, but the team couldn't capitalize on the scoring positions. Despite Madysen Boutwell's and Makena Riggs's valiant efforts to spark a rally, Cameron fell short 0-6 against ASU.

Game 2

Early in game 2, Kaiden Boren's early double and Ashlynn Bruce's timely hits provided Cameron with the lead. Despite ASU's persistent challenges, Cameron maintained their resolve, with Alyssa Deanda's aggressive baserunning extending their advantage. Although ASU managed to level the score, Cameron's persistent effort was evident throughout. Ultimately, ASU had too much offensive fire power and CU fell 4-5.
