How It Happened
SET 1 | Cora Young and Kelli Fording played a major role in St. Edward's blocking efforts, stopping attacks from Cameron players. Cameron's Haley Beggs delivered some pushback with two crucial kills. Kayla Eggiman was solid with a kill late in the set, but the set ended 25-16, resulting in a win for St. Edward's.

SET 2 | Cameron found more rhythm in the second set. Rhayan Earl and Jennifer Valdez contributed 4 kills together. Tatum Gehring had an ace that gave Cameron a 7-6 lead in the second set, helping them gain an advantage on St. Edwards. However, St. Edward's capitalized on service errors, winning 25-21.

SET 3 | Cameron rallied and won the set 25-22. Haley Beggs and Jennifer Valdez consistently blocked and scored, contributing efficiently to Cameron's efforts. Kayla Eggiman had 15 kills on the day that were a crucial factor, playing a huge role in securing the set victory for Cameron.

SET 4 | Cameron continued to fight through the last set. Kayla Eggiman and Hailey Baker tried to keep Cameron in the game with more kills, while Shelby Rusch and Emily Keohen worked hard on defense. Despite each players effort, St. Edward's pulled away. St. Edwards walked away 25-12 in the set and secured their first win in the Lone Star Crossover.
