Lawton, OK - The Men's Golf team completed their final round of the MSSU Invitational on Tuesday, as the team placed 12th overall with a stroke of 597 (Round 1: 306, Round 2: 291).

Rory Gorman (Brisbane, Australia ) and Ethan Parker (Austin, TX) tied at 30th place to have a team best stroke count at 147. Gorman had 73 strokes in round 1 and 74 in round 2. Parker had 74 strokes in round 1 and 73 strokes in round 2. Next on the team is Dennon Norman (Norman, OK ) ranked at 53rd place with a stroke count of 151. Norman had 81 strokes in round 1 and 70 strokes in round 2, demonstrating significant improvement in between the 2 rounds. Carson Wright (Norman, OK) ranked in at 65th place with a stroke count of 154. Wright had 78 strokes in round 1 and 76 strokes in round 2, showing consistency in his rounds. Ben Campbell (Norman, OK ) came in 70th place with a stroke count of 155. Campbell shot 81 in round 1 and 74 in round 2, showing his improvement throughout the rounds.

The Men's Golf team will return to play at the Battle of the Belt in Hot Spring, Arkansas on September 30 to October 1, 2024.
