Wichita Falls, Texas- The Cameron University Men's golf team is currently tied for fifth place after the first day of the Midwestern State Invitational at Wichita Falls Country Club. The Aggies sit at No. 47 in the nation in the NCAA Division II Men's Golf team poll. After today, the Aggies are ahead of No. 4 Midland (TX) , No. 12 Blinn (TX) , No. 13 New Mexico JC, No. 30 Midwestern State, and No. 48 Colorado Mines. The golf team will finish out the tournament tomorrow.
After Day 1, the Men's team is led in scoring by
Carson Wright, who sits in sixth place with a score of two-under par (-2).
Isaac Molloy is next in twenty-first with a score of three-over par (+3).
Rangel (Maximus) Cavazos is in thirty-fourth with a score of five-over par (+5).
Alois Casalonga is in thirty-eighth with a score of six-over par (+6).
Dennon Norman is in eighty-third with a score of thirteen-over par (+13).
