Lawton, Okla. - The Cameron University Men's Basketball team took down New Mexico Highlands on Tuesday evening, 89-81. Cameron got out to an early 17-6 lead after Thomas Tangle knocked down a three at the 14:26 mark. Efficient shooting from the floor and the three-point line, with Quinn Atazhoon knocking down three triples, led to the Aggies leading 48-39 at the half. In the second half, the Cowboys shifted the momentum by tying the game up at the 14:16 mark and then went on a 14-0 run to lead 61-53. Cameron would battle back, with Arzhonte Dallas scoring 12 of his 17 points in the second half, to help the Aggies retake the lead at the 4:22 mark. Cameron would build that lead up to nine points down the stretch and close out the game.
