Lawton, Okla. - The Cameron University women's basketball team dropped the contest against Washburn University Saturday afternoon. The Aggies had a strong start against the Ichabods, finishing the first quarter only down by one point, 17-16. Cameron would continue to battle back and forth with Washburn and went into halftime trailing 32-27. Coming out of halftime, Washburn would extend its lead, taking a 58-37 advantage after the third quarter. The Ichabods held off the Aggies through the end of the game, securing the victory.
