Portales, NM - The Cameron University Men's Basketball team fell on the road, 95-69, to Eastern New Mexico University in the first Lone Star Conference game of the season. In the first half, Jordan Mitchell scored eight points on 4-of-6 shooting, but EMNU shot efficiently to go into halftime leading 34-28. The second half began with both teams hitting shots, but Michael Jones hit a layup to cut the lead down to four. The Greyhounds would use second-chance points and fast break opportunities to keep extending their lead and close out the game.
