RICHARDSON, Texas — Just one week before the start of the season, the Lone Star Conference released its list for the Men's Cross Country Preseason Poll and named runners to watch.
Alex Teffu and Miquel Cruz-Bellido were named runners to watch as the Aggies ranked eighth-place with 229 points. The 2024 LSC Cross Country champion, West Texas A&M, was chosen for first place with 419 points, receiving one first-place votes. They were followed by Dallas Baptist University in second place with 343 points. Western New Mexico finished in the top three a point behind at 342.
Teffu, from Mashashane, South Africa is entering his first season with the Aggies, He is a transfer from Dodge City CC .
Cruz Bellido, from Artes, Spain is beginning his first season with the Aggies after transferring from Cowley CC where he finished 4rd at the 2024 NJCAA D2 Cross Country Championships.
The 2025 cross country season for the Men's Aggies will start on September 5th with their home meet in Lawton, OK.
