LAWTON, Okla. - After a weekend at the Drury Invitational, the Cameron University volleyball team stays on the road as they head to Bethany, OK for a match against Southern Nazarene.
The match is set for Tuesday at 6 PM at the Sawyer Center for another round in a long series between the two schools. Live stats will be available for the game as well as live streaming.
Cameron and Southern Nazarene have meet almost 40 times, with the Crimson Storm holding a 20-16 lead in the series. The last meeting between the two schools came on Oct. 21, 2024 where SNU grabbed a 3-0 win.
SCOUTING THE CRIMSON STORM
SNU comes into the match at 2-5, going 0-3 their last time out at the Pitt State Classic. The Crimson Storm hold a 3-2 win over LSC foe UT Permian Basin but also a 1-3 loss to Angelo State.
Kate Wright leads the team offensively with 70 kills on a .294 attacking percentage while Brelee Mauldin powers the Crimson Storm offense with 129 assists, more than 70 from the second-most on the team.
Defensively, Hannah Morgan records the most blocks with 16.0, followed closely by Riley Richardson at 14.0. Sydney Marquez holds the team lead in digs at 51.
LAST TIME OUT
The Aggies finished the Drury Invitational at 2-2, picking up a second win over East Central and a win over Lane College.
