RICHARDSON, Texas - The Lone Star Conference announced its weekly award winners for the past week of competition, and an Aggie found her name on the list.

Maria Savoca earned LSC Women's Golfer of the Week honors following her performance at the Oklahoma Women's Intercollegiate.

Savoca led the Aggies to their first tournament win of the season, as well as back-to-back team titles at the Oklahoma Women's Intercollegiate. The individual win is also Savoca's second consecutive individual win at the Oklahoma Women's Intercollegiate, having taken 1st at last year's tournament as well.

The junior opened the tournament with a 3-over in the first round before carding a 1-under in the second and final round, finishing at two-over overall - two strokes ahead of first place. As a team, the Aggies finished at 26-over, three strokes ahead of second place UT Dallas.

Savoca and the Aggies will be back in action on Sept. 28-30 as they take on the West Texas Fall Invitational in Amarillo, TX on the La Paloma Course.
