LAWTON, Okla. – The Cameron men's cross country team opened their 2025 season on Friday with a strong third-place finish at the Aggie Duels, hosted at home on the Big Green Soccer Complex course.
The Aggies finished with 85 points, behind only Oklahoma (23 points) and East Central (73) in a competitive 8K race that featured Division I competition and fellow LSC foes.
Alex Teffu led the Aggies, placing 13th overall with a time of 25:23.30. Right behind him were Miquel Cruz-Bellido in 17th (25:43.26) and Victor Ramos in 18th (25:52.35), both putting in strong efforts to keep the Aggies near the front.
Emmanouill Vardas and Arnau Pujols finished tight in 23rd (27:07.85) and 24th (27:08.61) to round out the scoring for the Aggies.
The Aggies will be back on Thursday for the Midwestern State Mustang Stampede in Wichita Falls, TX as they look to keep the momentum going early in the season.
