The Aggies were in a back-and-forth battle from the start, but UT Tyler would create an extended lead in the first half. UT Tyler would go on a scoring run until a fast-break 3-pointer by Arzhonte Dallas brought the Aggies closer, only trailing UT Tyler 36-27 going into halftime. The Patriots would continue to hold onto their lead throughout the second half until late in the half, the Aggies would work their way back to tie up the game with less than five minutes left. UT Tyler would hold off Cameron in the final minutes and secure the win.
