Rockwall, TX - The Cameron University Men's Golf team finished in second place after the second day of the Lone Star Conference Championships Tournament. The Aggies will face West Texas A&M in the medal round semifinal tomorrow. The winner of the semifinal will play in the follow-up medal round final.
Carson Wright finished tied for thirty-first place with a score of fourteen over-par (+14).
Dennon Norman and
Rory Gorman finished tied for seventeenth place with a score of eleven over-par (+11). Alois Caslonga finished in twelfth place with a score of nine over-par (+9).
Leading the team in scoring was
Isaac Molloy, who finished tied for first place with a score of one over-par (+1). He placed second after going into a playoff for the individual championship, losing to David Vega Gerstel from West Texas A&M. Molloy also made the all-tournament team after placing second individually.
