Goodyear, AZ - The Cameron University women's golf team completed the first round of the Palm Valley Classic Tournament at Palm Valley Golf Course. Cameron wrapped up the opening round of play with a team score of 311 (+23), placing them in a tie for 18th out of 27 teams.
Maria Jose Savoca led the Aggies with a solid 74 (+2), finishing the day tied for 21st and setting the pace for the lineup. Valentina Leyva Serrano and Raisa Valero Magas each carded rounds of 78 (+6) and are tied for 78th, while Jacinta Massie posted an 81 (+9). Mollie Wheeler rounded out the scoring with an 86 (+14).
The Aggies will look to build momentum and climb the leaderboard heading into the second round.
